I'm Engaged! Pray for this Ministry!

Bibles to the Homeless is moving forward with its expansion to the Midland/Odessa area and is seeking some Lubbockites to lead a Bible study once a week!

I got engaged 3 weeks ago and am getting married in 5 months (!!!!!) and moving to Oregon, so I am trying to prepare this ministry for a successor.

To do this, I will ask some wise people who have shown interest in the ministry to form a Board of Directors to guide both myself and the person who comes after me in being the most effective in our ministry as possible.

I will also be asking individuals to head up Bible Studies in Lubbock, with consent from one of our partner homeless ministries at a time.

After this, I will double-check to make sure those ministries are still stocked on Bibles and move to the Midland/Odessa area with the remaining Bibles. After homeless shelters there are stocked, I will try to contact a church in Midland/Odessa to see if there is anyone who could help lead Bible Studies or continue expansion.

The studies will begin in the Gospel of John, with the possible necessity of a curriculum being made if there is not one that can be bought.

Please pray that God will provide a successor, a Board of Directors, Bible Study leaders, and members of the Midland/Odessa church to start expanding there.
