Statement of Faith

If we truly Loved others, would

we withhold the Gospel from

them? To do so is to say, "I love

you so little, I care nothing of

your eternal destiny." No shyness

or urge to people-please should

ever stand in the way of the Truth.

Love is the most powerful gift you

have been given, the firstfruits of

all the Fruits of the Spirit. If you

do not bear it, how can you have

the Spirit within you?

We believe that the Bible is the Divinely-inspired Word of God. It is inerrant in its words and accurate in all that it portrays. The purpose of the Bible is to point to Jesus Christ, whether pointing forward in the Old Testament and pointing backward in the New. No words should be added to it or subtracted from it. If a part of the Bible is removed or a different "gospel" is added, God's very Word is placed behind the will of men to be used and manipulated for their own purposes.

We believe that God is a single eternal Being, yet has three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God the Father created and sustains us and the world we live in and is worthy of all praise and Glory.

We believe that God the Son is fully God and fully man, having submitted to His Father's plan to come to earth in a humble human form, live a perfect life on our behalf, die a death that placed upon Him the fullness of all sin and shame we have in this life, and rise to life that we may eternally dwell with Him. On Him is our full and sure hope of Salvation. No work is necessary to be added to be saved, but the fruit that follows reveals the true nature of our hearts.

We believe that God the Holy Spirit dwells inside the heart of every Christian in great power, bestowing upon us many spiritual gifts, the most important of which is Love. The Holy Spirit rose Christ Jesus from the dead; therefore we can walk without fear, speaking boldly of the Gospel which raises the dead to life.

We believe that the Church is the Body of all those who truly believe in and follow Christ, and every member of it has a unique purpose. All members of the Church are called to spread the Gospel by their words, deeds, and manner of life. The Church should never be a whitewashed tomb with elegant theology on the outside but no fruit within. Neither should the Church be a couch of comfort, devoid of all Truth. The Church should always seek complete submission to Christ.

We believe that every good calling can be done to the Glory of God and used as an avenue of ministry. We believe that the purpose of our work and of our rest and of our lives is Worship. We believe Christians should always put the Will of God fully expressed in his Word in front of every other will that might exist.

We believe that a "private faith" is not one at all. We believe our faith should be expressed through our spiritual gifts, especially in the most loving thing we can do: spreading the Gospel of Christ and His Grace. Though this looks different in the lives of different people, we are all unified in spreading the Gospel in both word and deed to all the world so everyone will know of the Grace of God.

We believe that a day will come when we are judged by God, and we therefore spread the Gospel all the more urgently to speed the return of Christ.
